Staff was lovely - everyone was polite and kind. Food was delicious from room service to bar to hotel restaurant.

Cons Beds were a little small. Would have liked more space to not feel so cramped. Sleep quality was definitely affected.

2 star hotel at 5 star pricing

It is unbelievable to me that this is a 5 star property charging a room rate with a comma. Not. Even. Close. Marriott should be embarrassed that this is the Chicago flagship. Possibly the worst night of sleep i have had in a hotel in 30 years in sales. Everything here is cheap except the price. From the absolute garbage pillows in your room (that can be switched...for OTHER garbage pillows) right down to the prison grade toilet paper in your bathroom. It’s like staying in a Super 8, but for a grand a night.

Classy, Clean Rooms. Smaller than usual but comfortable

Room was very clean. Staff was helpful. The location is absolutely amazing. We walked to broadway and most places in the loop. To go shopping in Michigan avenue it was about a 10 min uber. Restaurant in the building is really good

Cons Rooms are smaller compared to other JW Marriott, likely because it is an old building. But they were still comfortable and clean. Staff charged me a different rate than what I paid for in booking and then said I had to figure it out with Booking. So in that sense not very helpful.
