Great hotel, some great staff, some staff should go back to the motel they used to work at.
Gorgeous property!! It is a museum in your lobby and the facility is huge! Everything you need is here, definitely a must.
Cons Most of the staff is rude. Upon check-in one of my two rooms was ready and the very nice and accommodating woman offered champagne and apologies. Upon checking back I dealt with a gentleman who was brief, rude and extremely condescending. I was on the property for two hours at that point and it was an hour and 45 minutes passed check-in time. I was assured that it would be a few minutes and then 15 minutes… a bellhop stepped in and took me to someone else. In the lobby Turbine Cafe the waiter was rude, rushing us when there was no wait and throwing plates and drinks. He essentially threw my wife’s smoothie at her. Everyone else was great and the hotel is amazing!
Was offered to pay extra for the balcony and the view was obstructed by the Starbucks building. Called the front desk an
Cons The balcony and view of the river on the second floor is horrible. It’s obstructed about 50-55% by the Starbucks building.
Staff and Facility team are horrible (this was my review to corporate)
The stay was a little unsettling between a rude racist front desk manager. My complaints to her about the false messaging from the hotel team were not a concern to her. The A/C in the entire facility was not operating blaming the utility company for damaging hotel cooling equipment. From someone who runs a multi billion dollar engineering portfolio, the story from the engineers did not line up with the hotel manager message to guest. When I inquired further your employees folded and couldn't answer basic topology of systems. I did learn that you have two chillers for the property and a slip up on the engineering teams part was that they had one machine down for maintenance with no backup available after the outage of the working unit. The story could of been that simple but lying to your guest is not acceptable when your are trying to undermined their intelligence. I won't comment on the condition of the internal state of the room chilled water package units. If you'd like to see that and what the air quality implications those will cause please reach out to me. It shouldn't be hard to find me as we have call into the cooperate office pending outcome.

Dinosaurs and Gems!
We actually stayed at the Marriott Savannah Riverfront but stopped by here on the way out of town to take a look at the gems and dinosaurs. Would recommend this to our kids when they travel with their grand children. Even if you do not stay here the exhibits are open to the public and there is a hourly parking garage located just downriver from the property. Very well done!
Great location!
Cons The valet parking was a little pricey
