The people were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much and they could organise whatever you needed, even the 4am boat trip across for the Abu Simbel trip. I loved thr authenticity of staying on the west side of Elephantine Island and found the locals really friendly. I felt I got a true experience of Aswan and Nubian people and not a contrived tourist spin

Le calme, le bateau du propriétaire de la guest house, la propreté du lieu, le boss et son humour. On était à 2 avec mon épouse dans une chambre simples avec un petit balcon et une vue magnifique. Guest house très bien entretenue. Nous sommes restés une nuit, et c’était exactement ce que l’on recherchait pour découvrir l’île Elephantine. Merci

So peaceful
This guesthouse is very peaceful, near the Nile were you can swim to refresh. The public areas are nice, with all the paintings on the walls. The hosts have their own boat so you can ask them to drive you to some places (for example the botanical garden which is just in front). The breakfast is very good. They can also make food at any time. The WiFi is good in all the guesthouse, which is rare in Egypt. I would recommand people to take a room with Nile view : the terrace is amazing.
Cons We asked once for a boat transfer during night, and it was much more expensive than the public boat transfer at the same time (300 EGP pp vs 75).
