L'Agora Old Town Hotel

A beautifully restored old stone building set around an open courtyard, right in the middle of Kemeraltı. You step out of the door and you are in the bazaar, with the Agora a few minutes away and the lanes up to Kadifekale just behind. For seeing old İzmir on foot, the location is hard to beat. The team were genuinely welcoming and helpful with directions and local tips, which made a short two night stay feel easy. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was a good start to the day. The courtyard itself is a lovely place to sit in the evening.

Cons Nothing worth reporting. Two nights was too short.

I loved how there was a patio in the middle of the hotel, allowing for performances as well as a convenient seating area. The location was also perfect, as it sits in the middle of the town's market.

Cons Everything was really good

The stay was absolutely amazing! From the comfortable rooms and aesthetic decor, to the Old Town Restaurant with live music every evening! Located in the central area of the bazaar, definitely a must!

Zentrale Lage. Nettes Personal.

Cons Laut und hellhörig. Sehr hartes Bett, kein Auge zugemacht. Abendessen im Innenhof durchschnittlich, Personal war total überfordert. Live music ohrenbetäubend.
