9/10 — Very enjoyable stay

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. Everything was very clean, the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming, and the service overall was excellent. The breakfast was great, with very friendly service and staff always available to help. Our room was also very clean and comfortable. That said, in my opinion, the hotel doesn’t quite feel like a five-star hotel by today’s standards. It may have been a true five-star property 15 years ago, but the rooms and some areas of the hotel are now showing their age and would benefit from updating and refurbishment. This is the main reason I wouldn't rate it a full five-star experience. However, the cleanliness and service are excellent, and the staff really make a difference. One recommendation if you are staying here: Omiš is only about 20 minutes away by car and is a fantastic place to visit in the evening. There are many excellent restaurants and cafés, especially for good food by the water, and it’s lovely to walk around at night. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider coming back.

Cons The main disappointment was the sea-view room. We originally booked a room advertised as having a sea view, but after changing rooms once, the second room still had a very limited view of the sea. You had to look over the shops, restaurants/cafés and trees in front of the hotel to see the sea. For me, a proper sea-view room should have a clear view of the sea rather than just being able to see it in the distance. Another thing to be aware of is noise at night, particularly at the weekend. Because there are restaurants, cafés and shops directly in front of the hotel, when they close for the night there can be quite a lot of noise from cleaning up, moving things around and throwing empty glasses into the bins. This continued quite late and could be disturbing if you are trying to sleep.

Very clean hotel and very clean rooms. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. The service was excellent throughout our stay. The breakfast was great, with very friendly and attentive staff. The hotel has a beautiful location by the sea. Omis is only around 20 minutes away by car and has lots of excellent restaurants and cafes. It is especially nice to visit in the evening, have dinner and walk around.

For me, a sea-view room should have a clear and unobstructed view of the sea. It was quite noisy at night, especially at the weekend. When the restaurants and shops closed, there was a lot of noise from cleaning, moving things around and throwing empty bottles and glasses into the bins. There was also a noticeable smell in the corridors and lobby areas when we first arrived. We eventually got used to it, but I think the hotel would benefit from using a light, fresh fragrance in these areas. In my opinion, the hotel does not quite meet today's five-star standard. It may have been a five-star property 15 years ago, but the rooms and some areas of the hotel now need updating and refurbishment. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The staff, cleanliness and service were excellent, but the hotel would benefit from some updating and improvements.

O tamanho do quarto, a luz do quarto e o mobiliário era bom. O ginásio também era bom. E o serviço de quartos enquanto fomos ao pequeno almoço foi valorizado.

Cons a vista do quarto era para um telhado, não havia mini bar e o pequeno almoço era mediano para um hotel 5 estrelas. Café péssima qualidade, nem havia serviço. O atendimento no concierge foi mau.
