A great choice for all inclusive!

We were so pleased with this hotel! We were slightly apprehensive about booking all inclusive accommodation as we don’t usually; we have high expectations when it comes to food - it’s part of our holiday experience and we usually like to explore, but it was absolutely phenomenal. Themed nights included plenty of local cuisine and so much variety whilst also options for more familiar cuisine. My husband was so impressed with the meat whilst I absolutely adored the salads. Our children ate so well for the duration. It truly did surpass my expectations of all inclusive accommodation. Plates were cleared so promptly ready for your next course as staff are so attentive. Even the alcohol was good quality - I was pleasantly surprised to really enjoy all the wines served. What’s more the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and really did go above and beyond. Ahmed in particular made us feel so welcome - what an asset to the team at this hotel. Compared to the other hotels towards Pathos harbour, the facilities seemed far superior and more child focused with multiple pools and slides. Don’t be put off by the distance from the harbour though as it’s such an easy/stress free journey by bus - only 10/15 mins with a frequent service. The entertainment team and lifeguards were fabulous too. We spent most our time around the main pool where inflatables were allowed. If you’re wanting a quieter experience though there’s the deep pool or the small children’s pool area. Life guards are really attentive also and super friendly. We will definitely be coming back. It’s good to return knowing we chose well and our hard earned money was well spent. Thanks to all the team at Louis Phaethon Beach!

Amazing hotel, staff and entertainment

Just arrived back home from I can only describe as perfect hotel. From the moment you walk through the door you feel welcomed and relaxed. The hotel staff are all so friendly and are always on hand with a smile to help or guide you with whatever you need. The hotel Manager Rudi is what I can only describe as amazing ! He is always present, welcoming and very hands on to make sure your holiday is everything you’ve wished for . The hotel in its self is immaculate throughout from reception to the restaurant. The food is absolutely outstanding and the variety will leave you spending more deciding what you want !!! The pool choices are amazing and give something for everyone . The waterslides are a real added bonus and make your holiday incredibly fun . Now for the magical and most exciting part of your holiday …… the entertainment in this hotel is second to none, from numerous activities throughout the day your never short of something to do and in the process will have so fun as the team are what I can only describe as incredible. However it doesn’t stop there . The evening arrives and this incredible team then show you just how talented they are , putting on the most impressive performances from game shows to the outstanding performances by these dancers and singers and the most impressive white night I’ve ever seen! However I have to make a big shout out to the enthusiastic entertainment Manger Jamie . Wow wow I really don’t know where he gets his energy from let alone in the heat. He will never not be seen or present in every aspect. He personality is infectious , and his goal is to make sure every single person has the most amazing holiday and goes above and beyond to ensure this happens . To see him throughout the day, hosting games, activity’s ,doing the quiz, running a team and then putting on all the shows and sorting the lights, music and making the magic for your evening along side hosting and then takes the time after to go and still speak to guests late in the evening . He really is a superstar! If you’re thinking of booking your holiday you definitely won’t be disappointed as this hotel caters for everything and everyone.

Cons ***עריכה לאור תגובת המקום, כל מי שמעוניין לראות צילומי מסך של ההודעות שלי לפני ההגעה שנשארו ללא מענה, מוזמן ליצור קשר בפרטי*** ניסיתי ליצור קשר האתר לגבי יום הולדת של בני, ביקשתי שיציעו לנו אפשרויות *בתשלום* לעוגה/בלון/פרח/שוקולד/יין או משהו אחר שיציין את יום הולדתו. פניתי מספר פעמים ולא ענו לי בכלל. בחדר האוכל כל ערב כל המלצרים שרים שיר יום הולדת למספר אורחים שונים, מאיתנו התעלמו לחלוטין. חדר מאוד מאוד מאוד קטן וצפוף. קיבלנו מיטה שבורה/מזרון פגום (שוקעים לבור במיטה) וביקשנו כמה וכמה פעמים ורק כשהגברנו את הטון החליפו לנו אותו. הצמידים זה נורא, לבת שלי לחץ הצמיד, לכולנו גזרו אותם ככה שהפינה היתה חדה ויצרנו לעצמנו שריטות על הפנים והגוף מהצמידים האלה. והם גם כתבו על הצמיד את מספר החדר בטוש שעשה לי כתם על הרצועה של השעון. לא הצלחתי להסיר את הכתם בשום צורה אז תיזהרו. לא מרוצים בכלל ולא נחזור. במחיר כזה אפשר למצוא חדרים הרבה יותר נוחים ומרווחים וחדשים בפאפוס.

Great family hotel

Great family hotel – excellent food, pools and especially staff, but rooms need an update We stayed at Louis Phaethon Beach for 5 nights in August as a family of four with children aged 8 and 4. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely consider coming back if the price was right. The biggest weakness of the hotel is definitely the rooms. We had a standard room, which was very small and quite outdated. The hotel still uses a physical room key and a mechanical key system to turn on the electricity, and we were only given one key. This is particularly inconvenient with young children – if one parent takes the younger child back to the room to sleep, the other has no key and has to knock to get back in. The A/C also took quite a long time to cool the room. Cleanliness was fine, but the rooms could really use a renovation. It wasn’t a deal breaker for us, but I can definitely see it being one for some guests. Almost everything outside the room, however, was excellent. The all-inclusive food was very, very good. The buffet had different options every day, and there was always plenty to choose from. Food and snacks were also available at the pool bar between the main meals, which is incredibly convenient when traveling with children. Soft drink selection was excellent. The alcoholic drinks were more basic, but perfectly adequate and did the job. The pools and water park were another highlight. Everything was very clean and there were always lifeguards around. There are three larger slides plus a separate water-play area for younger children, so it worked perfectly for both our 8-year-old and 4-year-old. The hotel was busy, as you’d expect in August, but it never really felt overcrowded. The kids club itself is quite basic, with fairly basic equipment, so there’s nothing particularly special to mention there. We didn’t attend the evening entertainment, but there seemed to be something happening every evening. There is also a nice beach immediately next to the pool bar. We didn’t really use it because the pools and water park kept us busy. The strongest point of the hotel, though, is the staff. Everyone we encountered was professional, friendly and genuinely welcoming. A special mention has to go to Ahmed Amer in the dining room. We saw him at every meal and he was absolutely amazing – always welcoming us, asking how we’d been and somehow remembering the names of the guests. That kind of personal attention makes a huge difference and really stood out during our stay. The location is also convenient. We went out to Paphos Harbour and the mall during our stay, and both were easy enough to reach. Overall, Louis Phaethon Beach is a very good family all-inclusive hotel. The rooms are clearly its weak point and badly need modernizing, but the excellent staff, very good food, great pools and water park more than made up for that for our family.
