Not only a hotel, a place with a heart ❤️

My husband and me are both from Belgrade and it was a combination of professional and private reasons that made us stay in a hotel. A strange feeling, one might think, to live in a hotel in your own home town. … But, what we feared will be a sad experience, was turned into the most positive one at Mamma Shelter! They showed both us and our dog extraordinary hospitality and even more, pure affection. To be met by the staff with a smile and music every day, to be served coffee with a view over Belgrade’s most beautiful rooftops, and our dog to be warmly welcomed even though he sometimes barked during breakfast (requesting to be served with the ham) and once accidentally 💩 on the carpet (after being given the ham, which his stomach didn’t take very well 😳), is absolutely priceless ❤️ Above everything, it is the excellent staff that makes this hotel run like a clock! Young crew with amazing energy and service oriented mind. Big hugs to everyone from us! Thank you Mamma Shelter for being our new home in our home town! Ljubica, Nenad and Gile

Cons The arrangement of room corridors was a bit difficult to get around in the beginning, but we got used to it quickly.

Hip, cool, and very convenient!

The location is excellent. The bar the rooftop bar and the restaurant are great. You get to see a lot of the local locals because they come and spend time at this hotel there were always parties and music. Fortunately, the music would go down around 11 o’clock. The location is excellent because it’s located in a commercial center and everything is there if you needed it. It is also right off the pedestrian street.

It was a great stay.

The staff were very friendly and all spoke very understandable English. My room had a scenic view of Victory Park and I had a very good breakfast every morning.

Cons There were no real problems with the stay.
