Incredible property, the staff we so accomodating and friendly, the rooms were very comfortable and cool in the summer, we enjoyed the pool and the dinner.

Not a great check in experience at Marriot Mena

Beautiful hotel unfortunately there was a confusion during check in that ruined the initial experience . I had paid my room on August 2 and upon check in they wanted to charge me again. Its very hard to recover from that . The assistant manager did call me the next day and explained it was a glitch. She was very apoligetic and did her very best to service recover. The breakfast was amazing at 139 Pavillion overlooking the pyramids . The staff at the pool was fantastic .

Cons The incident at check in was very upsetting.There needs to be a better system to ensure this does not happen.

We accidentally left $200 as a pillow tip instead of 200 Egyptian pounds. To our surprise, the cleaner did not take the money and kindly left it there for us. We were deeply touched and impressed by such an honest and sincere act. It really showed us the kindness and integrity of the staff. We are very grateful and will never forget this wonderful experience.
