Cons Unfortunately, the room was not clean. There was hair and dirt on the floor, and the overall cleanliness was very poor. The windows also did not block outside noise, so it was very loud at night.

This historic property is noticeably unkept and deteriorating. My room had visible dust and dirt all over, blood‑like stains in the bathroom on both the floor and walls, a hair piece on the floor under the desk but in plain view, and an overall dirty feel. Trash near the elevators was rarely emptied and often overflowing all week. Noise was another issue. I could hear conversations on both sides of my room. Detailed normal -voice -level discussions came through the vents. The outside street noises (expected) were much more welcomed than conversations coming into the room. Throughout the entire week, multiple areas of the hotel were “under repair” with no progress—treadmill out of service, escalators down, broken door on the side that would dangerously slam on anyone not paying attention, and other amenities unavailable. A coffee stirrer and other debris sat in the same spot in the hallway every day of my stay, never picked up. The building feels outdated, poorly maintained, and even had mismatched bulbs and a light out in the room. Internet service was poor, and complaints went unanswered. Hotel assured me they would return with an internet solution and no calls, no visits, nothing. No microwaves in rooms but 2 were available for entire hotel to share on third floor. The outlet photo says it all (take a look at the attached photo). The final issue occurred after checkout, when the hotel called asking about “all the items I left in my room" 5 hours after I checked out. They had the wrong room and were contacting me about someone else’s belongings. I guess I'm an unhappy Marriott BonVoy member after this stay. Overall, not a good experience.

Cons Very busy for HUGE concert. May suggest adding some type of speaker system to hear the receptionist during check in. Exceptional receptionist were during their best! They couldn’t hear me and I couldn’t hear them at times. Just a suggestion.
