Matachica Resort & Spa, an SLH Hotel

Excelente hotel, bonito, a equipe é simpática, os quartos confortáveis. A comida do restaurante é boa e é uma opção excelente para relaxar e disfrutar a beleza de Belize.

Cons O único ponto de atenção é que a praia do hotel, apesar de bonita, não é utilizável (ao menos na época que eu fui, em agosto) por causa da grande concentração de algas.

Perfectly dreamy, romantic, luxury hideaway!

Fantastic, romantic, upscale experience! The staff really makes the experience! Andre was always ready to go above and beyond to make us feel like VIPs, Steve was a passionate and creative bartender, Egar was a good concierge, and everyone seemed to love working there. Our luxury seafront luxury suite was wonderful—spacious, tastefully appointed, and the private plunge pool was especially great because of the sargassum that they worked tirelessly to control. The food and beverage are also amazing!!! I can’t recommend enough. Go see for yourself!

Everything about our stay was exceptional—from the beautiful hotel grounds and charming bungalows to the delicious food. What truly made this place stand out, though, was the attention to detail. You can tell that a lot of thought and care has gone into every aspect of the experience, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made our stay incredibly enjoyable. We left feeling relaxed, well looked after, and already hoping to return.

Exceeded our expectations!

Our first time in Belize, stayed at Matachica Resort. Such an incredible resort!! Staff is amazing, friendly and makes you feel welcome. The resort is so unique, as we’ve never stayed in an hut & sleep under a net around our bed. Cool experience! Surrounded by nature here. Amenities perfection. Cleanliness top notch. Loved the individual casitas as a room, private & cozy. We enjoyed the smallness of the resort, personable, quiet and relaxing. This resort is the reason we will return to Belize! Unique amenities done daily by the staff (turn down service, different sweet treat left in room with recipe, fresh water, etc) The seagrass was in full force, but a resort has no control over Mother Nature. They were out ALL day consistently cleaning it up so the smell was pretty non existent. Home away from home feeling. Thank you Matachica Reaort for an incredible vacation experience!!

Great place great people. Will be going back soon. Great food. I would maybe add a little store for snacks. The staff was amazing
