Really enjoyed the historic ambiance of the hotel and the proximity to the Alamo

It met our needs and we'd stay again.

timely check in, friendly staff, ease of valet parking, beautiful, historic hotel.

Cons When you choose a historic location, then you can expect to deal with some less than perfect amenities. Bathroom small and old. Noise from street outside very loud. Location right next to elevator was noisy. Walls are thin. No chain lock on door, where you could see one use to exist. The bar does not offer food past 10 p.m. and understaffed.

Very beautiful, interesting, and staff super nice. For the price I paid, I think free breakfast should be included.

Historic and next to the Alamo

Historic, beautiful, polite and helpful staff. It was tight in the center of many activities and places to visit.

Cons Charging $59 a night to park at the hotel is a bit excessive. Also, the bathrooms really aren't safe for disabled people and if they had accessible rooms, they didn't respond to my request either way.
