Great location but request a specific view and upstairs room

Very nice vibe for a mountainous region and kind helpful staff. The upstairs deck with pools etc was lovely as was the lobby and outside appearance.

Cons The location of our room was below grade with no view and gave no aesthetic value as the hotel represents... thank goodness we were only staying a few nights or I would have been SO unhappy. We did visit the restaurant and the meal was very sub par. I had cod that was to have some tagliatelle aside and veggies according to the description and picture but was a cod piece atop a bowl of pasta with red gravy with no veggies. My husband had an arrabbiata that was extraordinarily hot/spicy to an uneatable point. This is a dish he has enjoyed several times. The bread bar was a joke. Come on it was regular bread a fociaccia was the only attempt at an italian bread type. Please you can do better. We are italian and lived in italy for years.

Staff was very courteous and helpful. Location was great, convenient to walk around town.

Cons It was the most I've ever spent on a hotel, but it was a great place to stay.

Bed(s) were great and comfortable. Would like KING pillows on a KING bed. Shower water was good and hot. Soap and lotion were amazing- Thanks, Rocky Mountain soap co. Kitchen was OK for a quick breakfast or snack. The smell in the front entrance was amazing with the wood fireplace. The staff were very friendly.

Cons Sofa was uncomfortable to sit on. Could have supplied a scrubby to wash the dishes. The dining was OK, but the food was not hot, just warm.

Would stay there again
