Location: The hotel is beautifully located with a nice elevation over the red sea and the room is modern and spacious with high ceilings. Stuff: The stuff is very nice and showed they are very helpful and willing to set matters straight, which what happened after I got stuck in the elevator after midnight. The elevator broke down on the 4th floor, but luckily the phone inside the elevator was working and the technical team arrived quickly and got me out. Emad and Aya were excellent and made sure everything was alright. Check-in and out processes go smoothly.
Cons Food: I thought that by booking a renowned hotel, the food would be somehow guaranteed, especially since I had stayed at Mövenpick in other countries before. However, the food at this Mövenpick does not even reach a 4-star variety of food and quality, even though the hotel was fully booked. The buffet kept running out of items and not being replaced. There is definitely an insane room for improvement. Extra charge: (all inclusive) - There's a single okaysh restaurant where you can eat at, the other two good ones? EXTRA CHARGE. - You want to use any sports facilities? EXTRA CHARGE. - You want any snacks or drinks from your mini bar? EXTRA Charge. - You want to play Billiards? EXTRA CHARGE. - You want juice? They give you a sugery local brand that you can just buy at supermarkets for 20 cents. You want fresh juice? EXTRA CHARGE. - All drinks after midnight EXTRA CHARGE. - and the most ridiculous one is: You want ice cream? They give you a local mediocre brand. You want Mövenpick ice cream? EXTRA CHARGE. Although you are staying at Mövenpick hotel which is ironic. And the list goes on and on. The amount of stuff that is extra charge is A LOT. What is bad is that you are not informed about that extra-charge stuff when you book online all-inclusive; only after you arrive you are surprised.
Starting from reception, you notice that this a great place to stay in…
Sara and Aya in reception are sooooo professional. supportive….Makes your stay and life much easier , they are always ready to help…Saeed also in the beach side is very nice guy reflecting a shining image about his Wonderful Gotel.
