Only good if you’re able to pay for the really expensive rooms, otherwise would stay somewhere else

The staff were very helpful and friendly and arranged for us to move rooms after we had lots of issues with our first room.

Cons We paid for a non smoking room that stank of smoke and was so dated. You had to pay for the TV and the room wasn’t clean and the bed was pushed against the wall. The room wasn’t quiet and call you could hear was children screaming. HOWEVER, we asked to move rooms and after some discussion, the staff moved us to a MUCH nicer room that didn’t smell of smoke and was clearly of a higher standard as you didn’t have to pay to use the TV. Had we not been moved though we would have stayed a different hotel. Not a 5 star at all,

Ideal location and facilities in Nagoya

The superior floor rooms have U.S. style coil mattress with a thick box pillow topper and foam pillows. This is rare in Japan even at top hotels. It was very comfortable. The service was excellent. The location cannot be beat in Nagoya, it is in a lively area near Sakae station and surrounded by top attractions, department stores, multi floor entertainment buildings, and restaurants, and entry to the highway. That said, it is quiet as the rooms are above the noise and provide an expansive view of the city. The lobby is beautiful. I look forward to staying here again.
