Comfortable stay, but disappointing checkout experience

Attentive staff, spacious rooms, adequate cleanliness, and comfortable beds.

Cons I was disappointed to be charged for the laundry bag I had used to store my dirty clothes, without any clear prior notice that it was a paid item. My dissatisfaction is not about the price itself, but the lack of transparency and the awkward way the situation was handled at checkout. Clearer communication would have avoided this unnecessary inconvenience.

Cons Communication little difficult as many of the staff members don’t speak English

Location was great, breakfast was great. The front desk was very helpful and the rooms were really comfortable. For work, I had to visit a couple other hotels and I think Novotel had the best balance of value for service.

Cons The workout facilities are a little outdated but still very usable.
