Wonderful hotel
The hotel was like a resort for sure. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and I would definitely stay here again. I was actually looking for a reason to go back. The price was not that bad for a nice hotel. The bed was a firm, but it still made for a great night sleep. The rooms were nice and spacious, and we overlooked the pool area and the city. Nice pool area we did go and sit out for a bit and enjoyed the coin bar. The inside bar made a wonderful coffee in the morning. They give you a free beverage coupon upon arrival for a non-alcoholic beverage. They only have valet parking and it's $50 if you order that at the time of booking or $55 when you get there, or $65 for larger vehicles.

Clean, Comfortable, and good food, but should rethink their price point based on competitors
Driving in, the entrance is not well marked when you're coming up on the hotel on the right side so we passed it the first time. Valet parking is the most expensive compared to the surrounding hotels at $55-$65 overnight. This location does not offer the kids activity bags like others. The hotel itself is lovely and I would have loved to spend more time relaxing in the Trade bar lounge. They have a shelf of games that the kids played while we were there.
We arrived late in the evening and ordered room service due to the time. We ordered the Carolina elotes, crab cakes, pete and peach wings, and the burger. These were wonderful and a reasonable price. The wings were big and juicy, the homemade ranch was one of my favorites, and we loved the sauce for the crab cakes. The kids ordered grilled cheese and Mac & cheese and these were AWFUL. The grilled cheese was bland, cold, and dry, but the Mac and cheese smelled and tasted rancid. I've eaten fancy funky cheeses and the smell was similar to those but the taste was definitely not-- It may have been the worst thing we've ever tasted. It was actually so bad I asked the front desk to take it off our bill which I never do, and if course they were very apologetic and accommodating with that request which I appreciate.
We stayed on the top floor and had Club 14 access. We booked a 2 queen room, it was a decent size for the 4 of us and I really loved the long couch that ran the entire length of the window. The robes are cozy, though our room only had 1. They provide ample toiletries and at first I loved that they were all in larger bottles so you don't have to fiddle with several tiny bottles, however the sage and lavender scent is so AMAZING that now I'm actually a little sad that I can't bring some tiny bottles home with me!! Our only complaint regarding the room is that the bed frames stick out and are a bit sharp, all of us left with little injuries from whacking knees and feet on them.
The views from the rooftop pool deck are beautiful at night. The pool itself is quite small and not the best for young children. Most of our time spent at the pool was before the bar opened which was a shame because the menu looked great, and I wanted to try the tostones.
The views from the 15th floor are nice in the evenings, but next time I would prefer a hotel with higher floors to get a better skyline view. I wish the Club lounge was open later like others. The breakfast had limited options, but the food they had was delicious. The kids wished they had more variety like cereals, bagels, pastries, or pancakes/French toast. The afternoon snack was a build your own trail mix bar. I would have liked to see a little more variety in the snack options. The evening offerings included wine and beer, a cheese plate, banana pudding, and little sandwich bites and spring rolls. This is why I wish they were open later! It was delicious.
Customer service was never an issue here and everyone was very helpful, but Gabby in Club 14 was the highlight of the hotel. She is so charming! She greeted us by name, remembered our trip plans and asked about them each time we returned, really made us feel at home. And she is so incredibly interesting, we enjoyed chatting with her. Gabby is the main influence that took our stay here from good to great.
Overall it was a nice stay. The rooms and the hotel spaces are clean and comfortable, the food (excluding the kids meals) is great and not overpriced like most hotel restaurants. The lounge could offer a better variety and longer hours. Omni's Club rooms were around the same price as the JW Marriott' Concierge rooms, but the JW has more. Omni would need to make some improvements or reconsider their pricing so they're not competing against the JW amenities, in my opinion. I would stay here again but not if I could stay at the JW for nearly the same price.

Not Your Typical Omni
I will start with the pros- The staff was amazing. I needed an early check in during an very busy weekend event in Charlotte and I was accommodated, had to pay a $25 fee but worth it. Location is very central to a lot. Hotel is located within walking distance of the Convention Center. Hotel is embedded within a building with a Starbucks, Walgreens, etc. . Rooftop is AMAZING, hotel gives out free snacks and drinks (Cookies and Lemonade) one evening. Hotel is pet friendly. Room smelled clean upon arrival.
Ok the cons- This is not your typical Omni; it is a little dated! 15th floor had a flood from the rain. I had to hold the handle of my toilet for it to flush. Carpet in my room had stains. My room also had a strong musty smell after a hard rain. Shower floors need updated; tile and grout show its age. I expected more from the Omni brand and for the amount of money spent.

The staff was so amazing.
The staff was so amazing. Every single person I encountered went above and beyond to make sure I felt valued and accommodated. Genuinely, next time I'm in Charlotte, I'll be making sure I stay here again. Thanks for everything!

BEST EXPERIENCE!
10/10!! from the moment we walked in from the moment we left - everything was perfect. every employee we encountered was nothing but nice and sweet. everyone was just there to help and make sure we had a good time! Clarissa at the front desk was more than sweet - welcomed my arrival and had our room ready. Shout out to the best bartenders - Clint! There was a long haired girl at the pool bar who we loved but i forget her name!! Both bartenders went out of their way to make sure the drinks and food were always flowing! Shout out to the manager Taylor too who always was seen running around and popped by us a few times to makes sure everything was great! would 100 percent be back!!! the location is perfect - everything is within walking distance and our room was clean!
