Classic William Penn

The lobby is classically beautiful. The staff friendly and professional. The cafe is convenient for a coffee to go. Great location. Parking across the street. Speakeasy is great.

Cons The rooms need a refresh. The chairs in our room were stained and the carpet was old and needs to be replaced or cleaned.

Pleasant with attentive and helpful staff. The Speakeasy was a delightful surprise.

Cons Size of the bathroom was very cramped

This historic hotel is absolutely beautiful. Rooms were well-appointed, and beds were comfortable. We never had to wait for an elevator b/c there were so many. The hotel's location is great and an easy walk to North Shore. Park across the street at the underground garage instead of the more expensive valet.

The location of the hotel is excellent. I see a bit of a problem that the hotel presents itself as a 4star+ but in reality it is an older hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable. The noise from other rooms is minimal, but from the street it is more intense. What was inconvenient for me was turning on the lighting, where each lamp has to be turned off and on separately. Clean towels and replenished cosmetics every day. Paid WIFI. I was unable to get to the free wifi in the hotel after registration. The restaurant is better than average, but good breakfast and friendly staff. The cafe in the hotel is very pleasant with a wide selection.
