The bed is amazing!

Just a few blocks from the Parliament. Several great places to eat in the nearby. Veeeeeery comfortable bed and great shower.

Cons The blocked electrical plug at the working table wasn't very helpful.

I booked the Ottawa Marriott in May 2026. The location is great and within walking distance to most tourist sites. Two days before our little vacation I received a message from Marriott saying it was undergoing construction. There would be no lobby and no restaurant. The hotel is definitely aging and you can see why they would be improving it. The check-in area is totally outdated. They had a little table near the elevators with coffee and tea in the morning without a muffin or a cookie to be found. When asked, they said they did not provide anything like that. The staff at the front desk were very abrupt and not very accommodating. The parking for two nights was $80. Due to the state of the hotel, I was expecting them to wave at least the parking or give a discount on the nightly rate for the lack of accommodations available. Definitely off my list and will not be booking any Marriott hotels going forward.I’m

We know improvements are needed to improve hotel facilities but the restaurant closure was sad

Cons The price of the parking our rental car I thought was quite high. The first time I have had to pay for parking at a hotel in Canada.
