Location, size of the rooms and we were fortunate enough to stay in a newly renovated room
Cons The building work! It didn’t make the Hawaii experience feel special. It was also noisy. I can see that it does need a good spruce up.

Cons The initial room given was old and dark and on a low floor. The renovation work disruption wasn’t good

The hotel is in the best location on Waikiki.
Cons The hotel is undergoing a really massive remodel. The lobby is gone and you walk through construction tunnels to and from the elevator. There are workers and debris and tools everywhere. The room has noisy chipper air hammers removing tile from the bedroom next to ours and was loud all day, lucky we just left to go to the beach but if we needed a nap or had little babies it wouldn’t have worked.

Cons Extensive construction going on at this facility. A LOT of construction noise. Lost power to the hotel for 6 hours. And the T,V, kept going in and out of reception.
