Will be back and stay again next year when we are back for holiday.

Good size of the room we booked. Feel comfortable to stay with the elderly and the 6-year-old boy. Room is very nice and clean. Especially the staff name is Ailian Fang(方爱莲）who's really really polite and helpful. She made us feel like home.

Cons Location isn’t great, local taxi requires to go to the tourist places. Breakfast is fine but not many western options.

It was a very good stay and we were very happy with it.

The entire hotel was beautiful and very much as advertised. While the building was slightly old, they maintained it really well. Location was great as it was close to shops to get food and snacks.

Cons Maybe staff could have been a little friendlier but I would attribute that to language barrier.

Pleasant Stay in a Beautiful Scenic Area

Great location in town centre. Closest underground station is around 7 minutes walk away. The hotel itself includes various facilities, and the staff are welcoming and friendly. The hotel offers various perks, including free visits to the Panmen Scenic Area, which would normally cost 40 RMB per person, a photoshoot with Chinese historic dress, which I highly recommend. Photoshoot is a must-do in Suzhou and I am pleased by the services provided by the Hanfu Shop in the hotel (吴宫汉服馆). The staff are very well trained and can speak English. But do remember to book in advance if you want to try it out as they are extremely busy.

Cons Although breakfast offers a wide variety, including both Chinese and western food, the sausages, bacon, and beans could be improved.
