Radisson Collection Hotel, Waterfront Cape Town

From start to finish we had 5 very disappointing days at this hotel. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Location to waterfront was excellent

Cons From the 1st moment, the reception staff were incompetent, failed to take a credit card deposit so all our hotel purchases required on the spot payment . None of the hotel facilities were explained ie no shuttle info, no evening cocktail hour details, no welcome drink (saw others being offered one) Our van driver in a very respectable vehicle arrived for us and was told he needed to park on the street.and for us (hotel guests) to walk up to the street some 200 metres away. He refused! There was no information in rooms about the hotel or spa facilities Breakfast was good but the restaurant food at other times was sub standard with a very limited uninteresting menu

Great stay for a weekend in Cape Town - central, comfortable and a great spot for a sundowner!

Great stay. Hotel also added extra touches for our baby that stayed with us like a cot and bath products - overall a great stay and location.

Die Lage ist unschlagbar. Man sitzt beim Frühstück quasi direkt am Wasser. Man kann zu Fuß zu Victoria Wharf laufen (ca. 10 Min) was in Kapstadt wirklich Luxus ist. Ich hatte eine Zimmer mit Balkon zum Meer raus und war wunschlos glücklich.

Cons Die Zimmer sind pricy. Allerdings ist alles auch von großer Qualität.

Was awesome and will definately return.

Cons There was a bit of confusion with our check-in as I upgraded our room, but when we were checked in we were allocated the wrong room, but it was sorted out very quickly and satisfactory.

Cons During this stay they were renovating the patio area so we couldn’t enjoy that area as we usually do however, it was still great

The hotel has beautiful views, attentive staff and excellent facilities.
