Radisson Hotel Salt Lake City Downtown

Close to light rail but a long way from shops and restaurants.

Spacious room with microwave and fridge.

Cons Not a great choice of breakfast options. No cereal provided.

We were pleased with our choice and would stay here again if back in the area .

Parking was simple and the location was perfect for our needs.

Cons A free breakfast would have been the only improvement.

The location was great.

Cons The microwave was not safe for use. They mentioned that someone will be in touch shortly but I did not receive any communication from the staff. I asked for an invoice but they said they could not give me anything because I prepaid through booking.com.

Great location

Great location. I came in on Amtrak so showed up in the middle of the night. You apparently have to call the next morning to ask for late checkout but since there was a check-in issue, she gave me late check out which was greatly appreciated so I could sleep in. When I went down the next morning to check out I spoke with Betsy or Becky, the assistant manager... I can' remember her name. She was very helpful, patient and accommodating to me. Since my Amtrak train wasn't scheduled to depart until 11:40pm and due to weather was delayed to more like 1:40am, I was able to get late check out and then hang around in the lobby. There are tables with plugs for your devices. I watched Netflix and snacked. It was a comfortable place to hang out before heading to the Amtrak station. It was hot weather and they had a water station infused with oranges and lemons that a guy kept filling up. Very nice.
