Everything about this hotel is truly second to none. The staff in particular. It is a lesson in luxury hospitality, and it’s truly exceptional. Even though it has undergone renovation the historic heritage of this hotel has been cleverly preserved. I felt like royalty staying.

Stunning hotel and service but check out disaster!

This is a stunning hotel, the staff are all amazing, especially the butlers that go above and beyond. The locations and facilities could not be better and the dining options delicious.

Cons Unfortunately, after a wonderful stay, I was left disappointed by the check out process - they allowed a later check out by 1 hour but when I arrived to process then check out the team were not ready - they had not updated all my incidentals that I highlighted on the statement. I had to leave so they said they would email me and instead they charged the full room charge again (which had been paid before my arrival). It took 3 emails to get a reply and eventually a refund but at the time of writing this review they still have not replied to my last email trying to settle my account. This has left a negative impression of what was a perfect stay.

Nearest thing to heaven without dying

Hospitality One of the worlds great hotels for a reason. Book it. Forget what you paid and enjoy it to the fullest. Take the history tour.
