Live like a royal
Warm and friendly staff. Beautiful rooms, gorgeously decorated place. The whole aesthetic of this hotel is sooooooo Wes Anderson. I love the intimacy of this place, and the history. Who wouldn't like to stay in the same room that a royal used to! Sujal and Sharmila were lovely; the staff really do their best to take personal care of their guests.

Great food and stunning views, but choose your room carefully.
The staff (manager) is quickly-acting person and much reliable. Staff at the restaurant and bar were excellent to explain about the food and bar menu in detail. Dishes were all well presented and quite nice.
Cons The room assinged in the beginning was not worth paying at all. After discussing with the hotel staff, the manager was so kind to upgrade to higher category (they said "higher category"). It means rooms for the basic category are not recommendable. What was NG: The room was dark and the bedroom was quite small. Also, some of the photos on the website showed shared/common spaces, which made the room appear larger than it actually was. Further, The choice of artwork was also unpleasant and contributed to the uncomfortable atmosphere.
This was a heritage property which was beautiful, but the staff made the stay special.
