Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Hotel

Not a convenient airport hotel

The beds were comfortable and close to the mall

Cons The hotel was undergoing works which were not mentioned which was dirty and messy. The room itself was ok but some the ammenities (the body lotion etc) were used and empty, there was also there other people’s hair in the shower. Makes me think it wasn’t cleaned properly. The worst part was the fact we booked this hotel as it advertised it has a “free shuttle” from 5.30am to the airport , even says it as you get to the hotel. Except it didn’t. It wasn’t running that day until 7, so had to pay another $30 for an uber. Convenience was the entire reason we booked this hotel. It was not convenient. It was dirty and a building site

Mall hotel and valet!!

The experience was amazing - being right next to the mall was a pleasant surprise. I also have to give my kudos to the valet Nathan he was lovely!!

Cons The property was being rennovated so it was very noisy and the pool was closed. We weren’t informed before going. We asked for a discount via booking. Com but the hotel never replied
