Nice, clean hotel! Nice staff and great location!

Cons The glass bathroom wasn't ideal, especially when staying with a friend!

Lovely location and staff, but noisy

Loved the aesthetics. The lobby is huge with many places to lounge and relax. The shampoo, conditioner, and soap smelled wonderful. The front desk staff was very nice and accommodating. Many great places to walk to and enjoy.

Cons Unfortunately this location is in the flight path of the local reykjavik airport, so planes were constantly flying overhead. It also sounded like a helicopter or plane was literally flying around all night and made falling asleep difficult. The noise of other guests in the hall slamming doors was difficult too. Just thin walls i suppose.

Globalement très bien. Fauteuils et canapés confortable un peu partout au rez-de-chaussée pour se détendre ou travailler. Restaurant de l'hôtel bon et pratique. Petit déjeuner top.

Cons Le prix du petit déjeuner est cher. Les fenêtres de ma chambre côté rue étaient mal insonorisées et les voitures passaient juste en dessous. Boulequies/hear plugs obligatoires. La lumière ne permettait pas d'éclairer nettement la chambre.

Magnifique hôtel à Reykjavík !

Amabilité du personnel. Hôtel très très très bien décoré ! Chambre magnifique et confortable. Petit déjeuner varié et mets excellents. A ne pas manquer pour une séjour à Reykjavík.

Cons Juste un détail, indépendant de l’hôtel : la vue sur le port, légèrement ternie par des travaux en cours.

A warm, comfortable stay in a fantastic marina location, with lovely staff and everything we needed

This hotel exceeded our expectations! The staff were friendly and helpful, and ordering taxis was easy whenever we needed one. The location was fantastic, with beautiful views over the marina, a great bakery and burger place nearby, and just a short walk into town. Our room was warm, spacious and really comfortable. The layout was particularly practical, with plenty of space to store our walking gear and have everything ready for the next day’s exploring. A lovely base for pottering around this amazing city!

Looking forward to returning to stay on our next visit.

Loved the location and the conveniences provided. The employees in housekeeping and at the reception desk were exceptional. Restaurant employees were good with the exception of the employees working the check in for the breakfast buffet and the buffet area.

Cons The staff at breakfast were not friendly. We had mixed experience with restaurant and breakfast staff. Our wait staff at dinner were, overall, excellent. Front desk staff was exceptionally helpful. The only area we felt the property needed improvement were in the breakfast area and where you checked in for breakfast. The property would be incredible if they improved the friendliness and attitude of the staff at the buffet area. Having had a career in hospitality, employees are the face of the business. With this small improvement, this property would be the best I have had the pleasure of staying in Iceland.
