Fantastic hotel with friendly staff, but the process of checking in and out needs to be smoothed over.

Great location, clean, comfortable, plenty of parking nearby

Cons This is now my third stay at this location and while I do enjoy the visit itself every time, checking in and out has seemed to become a headache every time I visit. I’m not sure if it is something that happens with booking through Booking.com, but for some reason the full amount of my stay is always billed upon checking in, even though I pre pay for my stay months in advance. It is fine if that is company policy, but it has never been disclosed to me and always comes as a surprise to me when checking my bank statement. This is now the 2nd time I have had that “temporary hold” actually charged to my account where I have had to verbally request it be refunded to my account days after checking out. Going through this process at the front desk has caused check in/ out to take up to 20 minutes several times now for me, and it is the only hotel I have ever stayed at where it is done this way instead of a flat $50 or so per night as a security hold. While I do enjoy this location a lot, occurrences like this repeatedly happening are decreasing my likelihood of wanting to stay at this location in the coming years. Any feedback regarding these processes and policies would be much appreciated, and I hope to get some clarification on them so I can continue to look forward to staying at this hotel.

Good value, pleasant stay

Excellent location for the event we attended; the hotel is connected to a parking lot which in turn is connected to the event center. Large and spacious lobby. The rooms were very well kept, it was great value given the location and quality. There wasn't any issue with noise or anything like that. Starbucks in the lobby was great. Kim H was very helpful.

The room was very clean and nice. However, the most memorable part of this visit was my experience with front desk representative, Kim H, who was wonderful and extremely helpful! I had traveled without my phone charger. I had asked a previous representative if they had a charger I could borrow to use in the lobby. The rep did look for one in the front desk drawers but did not have the charging cube that I needed. I was going to walk out of the hotel to buy a changer, but I then asked Kim if there was anyone in the back or office area/department that had a personal charger that I could use, and Kim said she would go to the back and ask. Well, lo and behold, Kim came back to the front desk with the exact charger I needed! I was able to charge my phone in the lobby, and then handed it back to her when it was charged. Kim saved the day, and she did it with a smile! I had emails and calls to make this morning, and I could not have done it without her help! I hope she gets acknowledged for excellent customer service and going above and beyond to help a guest in need! Thank you Kim, for your help, kindness, and professionalism!!!

This Marriott has amazing staff. I had trouble with my hotel room access and Kim H was so nice to go up and help me.

Exceptional Service from a Rising Star

I had to unexpectedly extend my stay for business reasons, and Kim H, went above and beyond to help me. She made sure I could keep my room and extended my stay seamlessly, saving me the hassle of having to move to another hotel. She was professional, helpful, and genuinely caring throughout the process. I was especially impressed to learn that she is an intern—she demonstrated excellent customer service and initiative. Any organization would be fortunate to have someone like her on their team. I wish her all the best in her future career.
