River City Casino Hotel

Nice place, a bit expensive sometimes, not consistently clean or comfortable

We love staying there as it is nice to be able to walk inside at night and the free soft drinks are nice. The place is usually quiet and the beds are usually comfortable, but not always. Also, it can be a bit expensive sometimes for the amenities.

Cons This time one of the bed and pillows were not comfortable, usually they are. Also, it was loud in the hallway. The cleaning people start a bit too early when you have had a late night. Also, it was more than $200 this time which makes it not quite worth it.

The hotel was sufficient for our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. We checked out the casino which was cool to have near the hotel. The room was comfortable overall.

Cons The hotel rooms could be a little cleaner. There was build up and residue on the shower head that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. One of the air conditioning vents wasn't working so the AC didnt work that well.

Ameristar is better

River City Casino is not a good experience. The hotel is nice but not exceptional. Doesn't have room service, there's no pool, no arcade or anything for kids - yet they charge a resort fee. There is nothing around outside of the casino unless you want a tattoo or smell the odors emanating from MSD (Metropolitan Sewer District) next door.

Lived Hotel. Enjoyed live entertainment at the Velvet room and enjoyed machines still learning slots

Did not have Breakfast. Did grab a Coffee at cafe. It was delicious staff was friendly. Front desk very hospitable great outing it was for my Moms 77th celebration of life.

Cons The shower was brautiful. Water was cold. I had to take a shower anywayy

Great Times

Just stayed the night and had a blast. 2 restaurants stayed open till 11pm and the drinks till 2am.
