This hotel is in a great location being several blocks from the beach and several blocks from the main area of State Street. The room was clean and comfortable. Bed was good and had pillows with different levels of firmness. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Cons The hotel sits next to the train station and at a rail crossing. The room was very noisy with trains rolling by, train horns, crossing warning, and car traffic. The walls are very thin and the windows are not well insulated adding to the noise. If you want peace and quiet this is not a place to get a room. The shower set up is similar to origami. There is a shower curtain and a swinging glass door requiring proper positioning to slow the amount of water that gets into the bathroom area. No matter how hard you try the floor around the shower will be flooded. The parking costs $45 a night which is fairly steep. I found parking within a block or two where I could park overnight. No elevator so if you have physical challenges or luggage it creates some choices. The staff will carry your luggage to the room. Not sure they will carry you.

Incredible location, super attentive staff, and a beautiful hotel. It’s also very functional: they lend bikes for rides up to 2 hours, beach towels, several water refill stations around the property, and the staff was extremely helpful with our post-checkout luggage storage request.

Cons Although the room’s setup is great, we found it a bit tight on space. Since we had one large suitcase and two medium ones, we had to do a bit of juggling to fit everything. But it’s nothing that affected our overall experience, which was still amazing.

Beautiful building and facilities with incredible staff.

Perfect location right in the centre of town. Facility was clean with a welcoming reception area with games and water/coffee

Cons Bathroom doors did not reach floor/ceiling which created less privacy.
