Great place to stay in Hong Kong, with great meal options minutes away.
Location was in the heart of the city and right next to a mall and metro station. Suite was well furnished and comfortable.
Cons The continental breakfast left much to be desired. Even though it was included with our room booking, by the third morning we were enjoying breakfast outside the hotel.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, it was very very clean and comfortable. Location was good for transport links and not far from central Mong Kok
Cons There was a fire alarm at 230am on our second night and the communication during the situation wasn't very clear. It was very scary and filled us with anxiety. Eventually the managers were able to explain it was safe again and there was no fire but it was hard to relax that night and we lost the following day as we were too tired to do anything, after that the rest of the trip was perfect

Excellent hotel with great facilities, although sauna and gym were not working
I stay at the Royal Plaza Hotel every time I visit Hong Kong, and it has consistently been an excellent experience. The location is great, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff are always professional and welcoming. The gym, swimming pool and spa facilities are also usually excellent and one of the reasons I keep coming back.
Cons The only downsides this time were that the sauna and steam room were not working during my stay, and the room rates had increased quite significantly compared with my last visit a year ago. I’m not sure whether this reflects a general increase in accommodation prices across Hong Kong or just this hotel. Despite the higher price, I still think it offers very good value given the overall quality, facilities and service. I’d happily stay here again.
