Salt Lake Marriott Downtown at City Creek
Staff treat you well and the location downtown is great, but the hotel cuts corners on room basics.

Exactly what you expect from a well run Marriott business class hotel. Great location, easy to get to from the airport and very convenient to many things downtown. It would be nice if the M club opened earlier, at least so you can use the coffee machine. Waiting until 6:30 is a long time.
A true keeper
From the moment we arrived at the Marriot City Creek Hotel, We experienced, a superior level of service. Alex, at the front desked check us in and upgraded or room to a 16 floor room with a gorgeous view and balcony. She couldnt have been more kind and imformative. The room was spacoius ,well appointed ,and clean.The king bed, a dream to sleep on ..and free from, the all to often, next room and hall noise. We found their lobby a joy, as we casually meet with some family members. The Location was ideal and perfectly suited for exploring City Creek mall and dining ...with a literal back door from the mall Àll in all ...the kind of experience... we have come to expect from the Marriot hotel chain...definitely ... will be back
Very DISAPPOINTED. Charged 45 dollars to park at hotel. I litterly thought it was just an error. $15 To use wifi.
Really small room, paid for King Suite and got a King bed in a really small room. $45 TO PARK. Room wasn't cleaned and even floors were dirty in hallway outside elevators. $15 to use wifi. Definitely did not get our money's worth. VERY DISAPPOINTED
Good overall , but poor advice re trips eg tabernacle choir from reception( told it was closed when it was open)

Cons The person on the phone when I called to ask if they were right next to Gallivan Centsr said yes and I have been in a pickle trying to deal with Marriott and Booking and out of 2 days $.
