The front office desk staff are irresponsible and they don’t know how to treat customers.

A Super City Hotel

We has a very comfortable three night stay in a club room at the Shangri-La Bengaluru with two areas becoming a real highlight. The first was access to the Horizon Club Lounge lead by Amit - a true professional working and leading a very capable team. The lounge gave us all we needed; breakfast in the lounge was more than plenty (we did look at the main breakfast area and - while the spread was extensive - we preferred the sanctuary and personal service of the lounge). Furthermore, the evening cocktails and canapes were exceptional with a wide choice of drinks and food (far more than just a few 'snacks'). We loved spending time in a lounge that was spacious and so well run. Our second highlight was access to the pool; finding a 25m pool in the city is a dream and this pool is really well maintained with great opening hours (opens at 6am so perfect for lengths before sight seeing). That said, although long, it is quite narrow (4 people swimming lengths is a squeeze) so be prepared to breathe in and share, especially on week days! We think this hotel is a great choice if staying in Bengaluru and we would happily return - especially to the Horizon lounge and pool - if we find ourselves in this part of India again. Very Good hotel

I liked nearly everything. The staff were most of them wonderful and helpful. Food was very good. Transport services were also good.

Cons One staff from the Italian restaurant, a girl, was like not really happy to see clients. No smile and no welcoming qualities, compared to the other staff in that restaurant who were very nice.

Bit Disappointed. I probably expected more as this was my first stay at Shangarila.

Nothing Exceptional. Its does have most of what you expect in a 5 star hotel

Cons The most disappointing was the overall service quality. Either the staff is all new or undertrained. The kind of service that we normally see in Indian 5 star hotels was missing. This I am saying across sections.

What can I say.. Shantrice-la never disappoints. The property is in an great Location with easy access to the airport and downtown. It is clean and well kept. Rooms well maintained and everything worked. Cannot tell you how many hotels I stay in where stuff does not work.. not here. It has a massive real gym! Nice pool and the breakfast buffet is massive. There are other restaurants and was told the Chinese restaurants really good Only thing to call out is that the front desk guy at check was not engaged and has a hard time understanding him. I will stay here again.
