This is our send time staying in Shangri-la, last one being in may 2026, the staff then were very helpful and polite and did our check-in well. I had stayed in the speciality suite last time which was excellent cleanliness wise compared to the executive suites. I can understand if the facilities are not the same but cleanliness wise i was hoping it would be same regardless of the suites we choose. Our check in was done on the Ground Floor and not on the 30th floor where the server evening tea.

Cons However this time the check in staff were not very helpful, we had booked and payed for a sea view executive suites and also asked if we could upgrade to specialty suites which was declined but they didn't even give us sea view room. Later when we insisted and put our foot down on the sea view then they changed our rooms. Our first experience was excellent but unfortunately the second experience was average. Since the rooms were not clean and were smelly.

The best hotel I’ve ever stayed in

The breakfast was the most comprehensive I’ve ever seen, every food, culture and variety available. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful
