Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour

Everything! The service and amenities! The very professional staff This place was a whole experience! You really made my standards high Sofitel Darling Harbour If I give any bad reviews at hotels I stay at in the future I’m blaming you Sofitel!

Cons That I wasn’t staying longer!

Expensive but a bit of luxury

Great view. Comfortable bed and lovely bathroom, the towels were luxurious! The Millesimie Club was excellent and definitely worth the extra money- I didn't need dinner after the "cocktail hour". The breakfast there was also excellent and I can't rate the staff more highly.

Cons I don't have any complaints at all.

This is a good location to stay if you want Darling Harbour as a location

It was still a good stay despite the check in drama. The breakfast buffet is the best .

The location is perfect as it is located next to the tram station. The view of darling harbour is amazing and there are plenty of restaurant nearby. It is also walking distance to the Tiktok arena which was so convenient for us. The breakfast buffet is a must try. The room itself is very comfortable and the view of the darling harbour at night is just beautiful. The Balmain toiletries thats the cherry on top.

Cons It took a bit long to checked in. There were 3 desk only available and there was a bit of queue. And then they asked us to wait to check in as the room assigned to us were not available but it was past 3pm which was their check in time. After we checked in, it took them 45 minutes to bring our luggages and i have to go to concierge to find them as they were not answering our call. The kind concierge manager apologised for miscommunication but in all honesty, i was displeased considering i paid a lot for my stay.

Cons Air-conditioner didnt work well. Woke up through the night hot and not comfortable

I made the booking at the last minute and via booking.com and arrived 40 minutes later and check in was seamless.

Cons Minibar contents had not been refreshed. Tv did not work properly remote was not responsive tv would freeze. Could not order room service via QR code had to call. When I called about the mini bar reception team helpfull, when I advised of other issues at departure staff didn’t seem bother at all. Bath did not fill properly it took 45 minutes to get 33/4 full,
