Lovely spot, pool and breakfast and dinner by the Nile

Cons Doors to patio area were not secure - further out from (old) Aswan centre than anticipated

It was nice that it was waterfront and each room has its little balcony. Great view

A charming, comfortable Nubian style hotel away from the hostel and bustle.

It was well designed with the rooms having little terraces with seating outside and the Nile just beyond them. The decoration was charming and quirky. And the staff were wonderful, always there to help and make sure we had all we needed. We had early morning starts - before breakfast was served - and they were always there with coffee and breakfast for us early. They booked Ubers for us and were always charming and fun.

Cons We don’t like the crocodile lake. We fully appreciate this is a Nubian tradition but we found it upsetting.

Perfect Nile experience

Sonesta Nouba Hotel Aswan is an absolutely beautiful hotel on the Nile. The food, the service and the staff are wonderful. The rooms and the view is perfect
