Sonesta Philadelphia Rittenhouse Square

Sonesta needs to work on basic hospitality for the rates they charge.

Great location. Excellent, large room and Ruth Chris great restaurant connected to it.

Cons Overall Lack of hospitality. Our room was ready at early check in, but it would cost us $75 to get in. No water in the very small lobby A $10 credit to use in the bar for anything but alcohol? Silly. And the bar was closed for 2 of our 3 days. The walls in our very nice room, were so thin we heard EVERYTHING going on next door, including their bed banging against our wall. And the pool was closed for the season Sept 14th when it said it closed in October. It rained. No umbrella available to borrow.

Very nice staff. Comfort of beds. Clean rooms and welcoming and helpful staff.

Cons No room service, no breakfast and the pool area looks bigger in pictures. Also there were a lot of stains in the rug and sofa.
