The staff is so helpful and friendly and the room was way nicer than we were expecting.
The night time reception staff was so helpful and nice. They were able to help us with an early check in when we arrived at 3am so we could get a few hours of sleep before starting our day. The staff as a whole also were just genuinely so friendly. We had a lovely spa experience and the masseuse even called a friend to help us translate as we do not speak Turkish. All of these little ways that the staff went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable really made us feel welcome and added to the experience. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to friends and come back to stay again in the future.
Cons The beds were quite firm and lacked a large blanket. Im sure in the summer it is quite warm at night so a large blanket is not necessary but it was very cold while we were there and a larger blanket would have been nice. The only other thing we would say is that the marketing and website of the hotel do not show how nice and luxurious this hotel is. It was a wonderful surprise to see just how lovely of a hotel Svalinn is but from the photos and website we never would have expected it.

The on site spa is very nice with a salt room, steam room, sauna, pool and hammam. The beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms are spacious and clean with large bathrooms. The breakfast is also very good with a huge selection. It is a luxurious feeling hotel and very close to the airport. Our room was quiet and we were able to get a good sleep.
Cons We ordered a non smoking room and although you could tell the carpet was new the room still had the faint smell of smoke. The hotel is also carpeted throughout, I think hardwood flooring would be better. The location, although excellent for an airport hotel, is off a main busy street so it is very noisy and busy outside the hotel. This did not impact our stay and it was very quiet where we slept but once you step out you are hit with sound of major traffic going by.
