Love everything about this place. Rooms are tastefully appointed. Incredible breakfast spread, but what makes The Datai stand out is the warmth and hospitality of its staff who go out of their way to anticipate your smallest needs. Love the small gestures such as the chocolate pralines in the evening, complimentary fruit & ice cream by the beach and valet parking. What I enjoyed most about this trip was the sighting of local wildlife right at our balcony. Will be back soon!
Cons If I had to be really picky, I would say that the main pool area is too exposed and isn't very comfortable to lounge around in the afternoons. Some shade would be perfect. Light and fan switches can be quite finicky.
