The Garland

Nice hotel; lovely pool; tasty food; ambience; washing machines. Great location. Thumbs up

Fantastic, safe place and great trolley service.

I always feel safe and enjoy the cleanliness. Staff is friendly and I enjoy the trolley service every time. Excellent! Pool is a great fun area to hang out at least for one night. I've tried other places but this is my to go if I have the option.

Cons Family member made an drink order, bartender was backup and made an error on the drinks order and seem to get upset and we waited extra long for the remake of the drinks. Besides that interaction everything was excellent!

Location for Universal. Nice to have laundry on site.

Cons Extortionate charge for parking. Air con was too loud. Balcony door didn't lock properly. We were locked out of our room because of a balance issue but there wasn't a balance issue and it was their own fault.

We really liked staying here. It was perfect for seeing a show at Hollywood Bowl.

The Garland Hotel is a welcoming hotel with a great location. Our room was clean and nice with nice white bedding and towels. The staff were kind and helpful and the restaurant bar was great. It is a very comfortable but not pretentious hotel.

Cons The decor is 70’s stylish but also tired. The carpet was old and rippled but looks like they cleaned it.

Can’t wait to come back!
