Great hotel in a very good location.
This was our second stay at the Godfrey. Great hotel and good location. Love that there is a coffee shop attached to the lobby. Room was nice size and we appreciated the snacks included in the room.
Cons We liked everything. We recommend this hotel to all our friends when they are traveling to Boston.
Great Home Base
Everything was lovely. Exceptional and accommodating staff, comfortable rooms and a location that will be hard to beat.
Cons The thermostat was a little tricky but we figured it out

Staff, location, size of the room, bedding and towels were nice quality
Cons Mattress was way too soft for my husband and I -caused back aches from sinking into it. They offered free snacks in the room -but they weren’t healthy-Oreos, as one example-there are definitely better options for snacks these days!

Brilliant location, close to the subway and walking distance from Boston Common and other sites. I liked that they had a steamer in the room.
Cons Needs modernizing for the price. It could have been cleaner too, for example dirty curtains and stains on carpet. Could have had better amenities.
