The Gunter Hotel San Antonio Riverwalk

Good location

Centrally located but not on Riverwalk. Has had a refurb which on the face of it is quite flash but details like finishes could be better. Very comfy beds. Appreciated the kettle in the room. Lobby bar is lovely

Cons The vinyl thing is a bit of a gimmick, every room has a record player but it’s right by the headboard of the next room so we could always hear the music through the wall. There was a big wedding party who were very noisy with this at 2am. Bathroom very small. There is an Open wardrobe with almost no space - just a rail. Could hear all the street noise - it’s like the windows were open when they weren’t.

It was perfect and felt luxurious

It was clean and extremely well decorated. We loved the 1920’s theme

Cons I wished it was on the riverwalk but it wasn’t a far walk at all

Cons Everybody is so professional

The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was so nice and friendly from the valet, to the front desk, to the bartenders at the speak easy. We really enjoyed staying at this hotel.

Great time in San Antonio

Cons Parking was a little pricey so we parked in garage across the street

Hotel was nice, but booking.com put my entire family on a really bad spot the reservation never went through and we called booking.com costumer service for help, and your team was really rude and unprofessional, hanging up my phone calls not helping at all took so long to answered the phone calls, booking.com was terrible service
