Cons Room was a bit tight

Great location for running the annual races, beautiful city, very good and helpful hotel staff.

The location was perfect. Breakfast was excellent, but on day 1 our waiter said we must order our 2 courses which both arrived together, so had to eat hot food (scrambled eggs) before muesli and yoghurt for 5 days. Much later we heard others ordered one course at a time, so the hotel should be informed it's usual to eat cold food before hot!

Cons We were a group of 15 staying at the hotel and, to keep finances separate, we booked rooms individually through Booking.com, so the hotel wasn't aware we were a group. We and other friends booked Deluxe Double Rooms (201 and 301) which were very cramped for space - particularly for 5 nights. The large bed was great, but gave no space between desk and bed (we're all runners and thin!). 1 drawer in the wardrobe isn't enough. Friends in Rooms 202 and 302 had a huge amount of space! Hotel atmosphere is great, but no proper lounge area meant 15 guests didn't drink at the bar.

Amazing breakfast, superb location, beautiful hotel and very helpful staff. Would definitely recommend staying here on visiting Ljubljana
