Always an amazing experience from beginning to end at The Langham. Everything was perfect.

Nice location

Great position, all you want in a hotel but with a smaller more boutique feel. Elegant and charming place to stay. Loved

Had a wonderful feel of modern but with old world charm. Elegant, stylish but comfortable. Superb cocktails and a great barman, made our evening even more special.

Cons Nothing

We booked a king room with a city view. The room's decor and furnishings were high quality. The towel heating rack was useful, and the bathroom amenities were comprehensive. We appreciated the friendly, efficient linen and room service, along with the turn-down service at the end of the day. The James restaurant had some really lovely, exceptional dishes.

Cons However, the technology could be improved, as our television wouldn't work or connect to the local server, and the portable charger charged my iPhone slowly. We had several options to contact the service desk, and I found WhatsApp the quickest; the phone service kept ringing, but no one answered. Meanwhile, in the middle of the night, there was a lot of car honking and speeding on the street (and nearby), along with loud people talking at 2:30am near our windows; this was very disruptive to our sleep and our baby's. I probably wouldn't recommend this hotel for young families unless it invests in double-glazed, soundproof windows. The observatory bar seemed to have the same food as the 24-hour room service, so some variety would be great. Meanwhile, the breakfast buffet was reasonable, but we definitely expected more from Langham (i.e., the zucchini fritters and blueberry pancakes need improvement).
