Avoid. Not worth the cost at all.
Right by the beach, pretty surroundings, lovely staff especially the valet team
Cons My room was the smallest you could imagine. 428. It was so small I could not open my luggage on the floor. Absolutely outrageous given the price paid. They also asked me for a huge deposit for no reason (everything was paid and I was not using valet or any service), no welcome drink or coffee or anything. It was just the tiniest bedroom and the tiniest bathroom that completely ruined my experience.
The swimming pool is by the road, there is a second one that’s quite nice but no bar or any service by the pool.

Beautiful property, but for this price we expected a much more private and premium experience.
The rooms were beautifully decorated and the outdoor areas with fire pits were lovely. The valet attendant was also extremely friendly and helpful.
Cons However, for around $500 per night, it was simply not worth the price. Although we booked an ocean-view room, there was a shared balcony directly in front of our windows, with people constantly walking past or sitting outside talking. There was almost no privacy, and the old windows offered very poor soundproofing. We strongly recommend that the hotel clearly mentions the shared/common balconies in the room descriptions, so guests know exactly what they are booking and don’t feel misled upon arrival.

El hotel está fenomenal, está muy nuevo, limpio y bien ubicado. El personal es muy bueno
Cons Las habitaciones de la planta baja tienen muy poca intimidad

Great location, but didn’t like the location of our room, shower, and windows offered little privacy.
Location
Cons Shower was very bad including size, water pressure, and difficulty using it overall

A hotel that deserves the wonders of its surroundings.
Santa Barbara is an enchanted place, most especially for the richness of its wildlife: marine mammals, and a marvel of birdlife: pelicans, terns, night herons, cormorants ... The Milo is the only place in town worth considering for the delight of these blessings: elegant, clean, perfectly situated, with a view of the ocean but slightly apart from the bustle of the main pier. The staff are impeccable, attentive, professional, thoroughly agreeable and personable. No detail is too little or to much for their attention. Rooms are tasteful: 'seaside' but classy. And those details that matter: good free coffee, even hot chocolate in the afternoon... The ocean view rooms are well worth the extra, but prices at weekends are insane - so plan your visit during the week and as far off-season as you can manage. We returned, and will return again ...
