Disappointing Stay, Poor Maintenance and Service

I booked this hotel two months in advance for a business trip, yet upon arrival I was told my room had been oversold. Only after escalating to the manager did they find a room for me. That should never happen with a confirmed reservation made that far ahead. The room itself had serious maintenance issues. The shower would not drain, the faucet was broken, and the shower head did not work properly. The bathroom floor had a heavy layer of dust, which raised real questions about housekeeping standards. The lobby experience matched the rest of the stay. A staff member at the front, possibly the concierge, was watching loud soccer videos on his phone with his feet up on the table. Not the level of professionalism I would expect from any hotel, let alone one catering to business travelers. Between the oversold room, the broken fixtures, the cleanliness issues, and the indifferent staff, I cannot recommend this hotel for business travel. Management needs to address both maintenance and service culture.
