The Oasis at Grace Bay

THE place to stay in Grace Bay, Turks & Caicos!!

Everything! Boutique feeling, well maintained, green and lush, clean and attention to detail. Both pool areas were beautiful with the comfiest sunbeds and lounge chairs. Loved the floating mattresses too. So peaceful and quiet. Great rooms with a great hairdryer, make up removal wet tissues and black towels for face and make up. Again, it feels like someone really thought about details when designing this hotel. The hotel restaurant, Trattoria Isolana had a great selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner and we honestly had the best meals here. Very tasty frozen cocktails too! Staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming! Also, shout out to the cutest and friendliest hotel cat! Miss her already! Compared to other resorts on TC, our stay was a bargain!! I would recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to visit Turks and Caicos!

I had a wonderful stay at The Oasis at Grace Bay. The room was beautiful, comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the beach was absolutely stunning. The whole property has a lovely, relaxed feel and the food was excellent. What really made my stay special, though, was the staff. They were exceptional — so friendly, helpful and attentive, and they genuinely seemed to care about making sure I had a great experience. At one point during my stay I felt unwell, and they kindly arranged for food to be delivered to my room, which was incredibly thoughtful. They really did go above and beyond. Even when I was leaving, the level of care continued. The day before my departure, they checked that I had arranged my transfer, and on the morning I left, a member of staff called the transfer company on my behalf to confirm everything and make sure there were no issues. I really appreciated that attention to detail and the fact that they were looking out for me right until I left. Beautiful room, gorgeous beach, great food and, most importantly, genuinely wonderful staff. I would definitely recommend The Oasis at Grace Bay and would happily stay here again.

Customer Service Needs Work

I am giving this resort a one star review because my birthday experience here was not great at all and has turned me completely off to the island. Our vacation started off with everyone else in our group having their rooms available for check-in yet we had to wait for ours to become available even though we put that we were arriving early in our reservation (disappointing but no problem). The room we checked in had an ant infestation (see video). How did this get past the house cleaning staff that needed all this extra time in our room? It took us pressuring the front desk to get them to rectify the problem. This was all happening the day of my pre-planned and paid for birthday dinner. So while everyone else in my group was relaxing and getting ready, I was dealing with this. Day two, after paying for coconuts on the beach, we learned from the hotel staff that these were included in our stay. No one shared that beforehand. The hotel did have a free shuttle that took you to and from the beach but at no point did the driver of the shuttle ever offer to help us on or off the shuttle. I had my hands full with the pizza box from the hotel, drink in hand, and bag, and he just watched my friend and I struggle to get off. Also, the new room we were moved too also locked us out twice. Not sure why that happened but when it did, we had to walk back to the front desk and ask for it to be reset. Lastly, the TV in our new room didn't work. The issues became laughable over time. This entire experience reflects the POOR level of customer service and professionalism the staff here offer. I do not expect this of a property that advertises itself as a 4 star hotel experience. And I have never had to beg for staff on an island hotel/property to be friendly, welcoming, and offer great customer service. Pros: The hotel food was good. The grounds were always kept clean. The rum punch upon welcome and cold towel were refreshing.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The grounds were lovely and very close to the beach. Well-kept rooms and pools as well.
