The entrance to the hotel is pretty, staff was very nice. My balcony was beautiful, the bathroom and tub was gorgeous, the main room itself was big! Both restaurants were awesome! Seriously, great service, atmosphere and food!!! I would go just for the restaurants..
Cons The actual decor and furniture in room in lacking... needs updated. They could do little things to make it look nicer and more comfortable.
Paramount Hotel epitomizes the best of Portland
the staff were outstanding. Friendly and most helpful. Two staff members stand out: Emma in the bar - her friendly demeanor and quality serving were above and beyond. Second was A-ooo-s?? I'm obviously unsure of his name, but he oversaw the restaurant every morning. What a find for you! I can't believe one man could do all that this job required, with his friendly demeanor. The room was great and the price was much lower than expected in such a premium location. I will tell all that this is a hidden gem in downtown Portland
