The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi

Comfortable and Good Location

It was our second time to Langkawi and my first time with both kids. As a mum travelling with 2 kids, staying at Ritz Carlton was really easy and made us right at home. It was only 10 minutes Grab ride from the airport. The resort is still as stunning as when my husband and I first visited two years ago and staff are all extremely helpful and friendly. I felt completely at ease arranging buggy rides for my kids to and from the Ritz Kids and our room. The housekeeping team truly went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. They prepared a special bubble bath for the kids and such thoughtful little touches made our stay extra special.

Cons Ritz Kids has the potential and capacity to become so much better. It felt a bit run down especially the pool area. Our children went for the Pool Party on Monday but were disappointed that the sound system and the water jets at the splash pad are not working. The area also felt a little dirty. The other side of the kids club is also quite underutilise. You often do not see anyone going there. Maybe the hotel can consider turning into an indoor playground? Or maybe extension could be made to include an outdoor play area? It's just a pity as it could become something more interesting for the kids.

Amazing luxury holidays

The hotel is simply amazing! The staff is very helpful and polite, our rainforest villa was super comfortable, the food at all restaurants was delicious. We loved absolutely everything and we will definitely be back to Ritz!
