The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne

An amazing hotel with ordinary service.

I liked the facilities at the hotel and the rooms are great. Furthermore, the room itself was spacious and initially clean.

Cons Our room was not made in the mornings even when we put on the clean room sign. In addition, on some nights there were turn down services and some nights there weren't any. So we were a little confused about this. We called the room cleaning services but they didn't change their service during the remainder of the duration of our stay. Furthermore, when we were checking out it took us over thirty minutes to checkout the property. We had to sit in the reception area and it seemed like they were understaffed as one person was running the whole space for the entire duration of our checkout. One more point to note is that guests are required to change elevators and the wait time can be long during peak times as members of the public who utilise the hotel facilities are required to use the same elevators as hotel guests going from the reception area down to the lobby.

It’s was everything and more, breakfast was fantastic, the views were fantastic. And the staff so accommodating and love

The staff are amazing, from the moment I drove up at valet to the moment I left, the staff were so welcoming and delightful.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Ritz-Carlton Melbourne. The room was beautiful, spacious and exceptionally clean, and the service was outstanding. We especially appreciated how thoughtful the staff were, even preparing our room before bedtime and making sure everything was clean, comfortable and ready for us to relax. The location was also fantastic, with easy access to the train station and so many activities and places nearby. The food and drinks were spectacular, and we felt very safe and comfortable throughout our stay.
