I liked the Japanese restaurant and the staff.

Cons The room wasn’t cleaned properly as there was hair in the bathroom and dried blood on the toilet wall when we checked into the room. The bathroom drain also was not working well as the bathroom kept flowing over. When notified the hotel sent the cleaning staff to tidy up. The blood was cleaned but the hair remained and the drainage issue persisted so it over flowed again. They called engineering to fix the drain and given that we weren’t fully dressed it was very uncomfortable as we were in the process of getting ready for dinner which we were late to as we had to dry the bathroom etc. it was an unpleasant occurrence. The sight of the blood still has me nauseas when I would have seen it and think about it. My birthday trip was ruined as a result.

I liked the property but the food and location made it subpar

The rooms had a nice view. There was a separate space for the toilet and shower. There were several pools to choose from to enjoy when the weather permitted.

Cons The electricity went out each night I was at the resort. I called and someone was suppose to come when I return med from dinner-NO ONE PICKED UP THE PHONES FOR HOURS. The food options were not with a Caribbean theme. The food was not good!There was limited access to other beaches as the beach adjacent to the property was not accessible. No gift shop was available. To get around it was confusing and elevators only available in the building a with the rooms not the other parts of the property.
